About The Terminal Theatre at Queens Quay Terminal

The Terminal Theatre is located in the Queen’s Quay Terminal at 207 Queen’s Quay West, directly on Toronto’s sparkling waterfront!

You’ve known this theatre as the Premiere Dance Theatre, and then later as The Fleck Theatre. Purpose-built for dance more than 40 years ago, it is located on the third floor of the historic Queen’s Quay TerminalBuilt in 1926, the Terminal was originally a dry-storage shed and cold-storage facility, and one of the largest buildings in Canada at the time, recognized for its distinctive art deco exterior. Transformed in 1983, the Terminal was one of the first major conversions of an industrial building to an elegant mixed commercial, residential, retail, and cultural site.

In 2025, The Toronto Stage Company took over the theatre, rebranding it as The Terminal Theatre, where it continues to be a beloved home for Toronto artists and a wonderful destination for audiences.
